Creating a Groundswell: Building a Brand & Career By Knowing Your Audience

We know that marketing is equal parts art and science. How can we harness this mix for established and new brands alike? And how does this apply to how we market, nurture and grow the most important audience of all: ourselves?

Step through a career evolution from PR to creative strategy to entrepreneurship in an insightful reflection from Marissa Fellows — insatiably curious marketer, ideas person and founder of Great Lakes Tinned Fish — as she applies lessons from all facets of prior experience to the new challenges of building a brand and business from the ground up.

Key Takeaways

  1. Universal truths: Audience insights from the desk of a strategist
  2. Building a brand: A Great Lakes Tinned Fish case study with integrated marketing essentials
  3. A curiosity-first mindset: Tapping an entrepreneurial spirit at any stage of your career
